Laura has successfully facilitated relief from migraines, chronic low back pain, physical and emotional trauma, sinus problems, chronic pain and long-term unresolved health concerns for adult clients. For pediatric clients, her practice specialty, she has facilitated relief from birth trauma and nursing problems, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. Parents report a significant improvement in behaviors and temperament after their children receive CranioSacral Therapy.

Education:

Laura facilitates the body's healing processes from the earliest beginnings. Her training in the following fields and techniques provides her with the skills to best facilitate a client's CranioSacral session:

• Anatomy and Physiology
• Advanced CranioSacral Therapy
• Lymph Drainage Therapy
• Posture and Movement Analysis
• Massage Therapy including Body Insight NMR
• Energy Work including Reiki and Chakra Balancing

She continues to expand her knowledge base in traditional and non-traditional classrooms. After six years of college level training in the biological sciences, Laura went on to receive over 650 hours of massage training, pass her national certification boards in massage (NCBTMB), and continue her bodywork training through the Upledger Institute with a focus on CranioSacral therapy. She recently moved to Annapolis, closing a successful Human and Equine bodywork practice she had built for over six years in Colorado.

At present, Laura has advanced through the core courses in CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute, studied SomatoEmotional Release, Pedatrics and Equine specialty courses and has entered the certification program. She has furthered her therapeutic knowledge by studying in the Healing from the Core curriculum through Upledger and has recently added Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, as taught by Dr. Bruno Chikly, to her therapeutic training. She continues to take courses in all three curriculums through the Upledger Institute.

Practice Focus:

Laura's focus in her CranioSacral practice is the facilitation of the conscious connection and communication for an individual with the Inner Intelligence (self-healing mechanism). Laura believes strongly that health on all levels is best accessed via conscious, compassionate, and healthy connection on each level (e.g. physical, mental, emotional, sexual, spiritual, vibrational or energetic).

Thus she finds it critical to be part of a healing team for any client she may be working with; in that she can facilitate healing in the physical tissues and the energy field. This work can then be supported by, and supportive of, her clients work with other professionals be it in the mental, physical or energetic levels, all are an integral part of this healing team.
